Kings Lynn DCO

Whilst working for NGET, a team member was charged with leading the consents and land rights for a new 400kV connection to an approved CCGT powerstation. This required the creation of a 400kV spur of approximately 3.2km in length over a number of landowners.

Referencing, consultation, stakeholder management, engagement strategies and application management were all part of the scope.

This application was National Grid’s first DCO. The cost of the project was circa £6m.
