Our professionals provided a development appraisal and valuation of a former aerodrome site at Panshanger, Welwyn Garden City for Homes England.

The site comprised a total of 37 ha. Homes England, who part owned the site, together with a private company, Mariposa Investments, submitted a joint planning application for the Phase 1 land and obtained planning permission up to 650 residential units, a two-form entry school and local centre.

Further adjacent land, currently within the Green Belt was identified as providing further development potential.

We provided the valuation of the overall site and assisted Homes England with the acquisition of the Mariposa land (36.91ha).
