Forming part of the Herts County Council asset portfolio Carter Jonas has marketed New Barnfield, a former council HQ in Hatfield for filming purposes. Over the past 24 months the site has generated over £100,000 to the landowners.
The site is a vacant former council HQ with 2 large areas of hardstanding. The site has been used for a number of different filming related activities from unit base parking to stunt rehearsals in recent times.
Carter Jonas has overseen the filming on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council bringing large productions to the site from production companies such as Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon and Paramount.
The average hire fee charged to production companies has been £2,500 per day.
