Masterplanning urban regeneration

We have a wide range of experience in developing regeneration strategies for both the public and private sector. Regeneration work requires first developing a detailed picture of the economic, social and spatial “health” of a given place and working closely with experts, to understand what is most needed to help support future regeneration initiatives.

We have worked in a number of towns which have struggled with the decline of the traditional high street and know that there is no simple solution to long-term economic challenges; we therefore team up closely with our colleagues in the Carter Jonas Commercial and Development Teams to ensure that any solutions we offer are supported by a thorough understanding of what is most likely to be successful in terms of the local market, rather than simply what might look good on paper.

Some of our clients include the larger local authorities in the East of England and the Midlands such as Cambridge City Council, Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council.

We also have several private sector clients who have ambitions to develop their own sites within town centres and assist them with developing proposals to engage local authorities and communities.
