Purley Park Converted Apartments
Purley Park, Berkshire
Purley Park Manor is a James Wyatt Grade II* Listed building set at the end of a sweeping drive and situated in perfect harmony with the gracious landscaped grounds and woodland.
Carter Jonas's brief was to convert the mansion house and its ancillary buildings into luxury apartments, whilst at the same time restoring the building to its original glory.
Internally the refurbishment and conversion retained all of the original details and fixtures - replacing with matching newly crafted components where required. Externally, a sympathetic attention to detail has ensured that the manor is presented for future generations.
The scheme met the approval of English Heritage and also includes reclamation of the 18th-century landscape.
